In Memoriam Vincent HONORÉ, MO.CO. Exhibition Director
It is with infinite sadness that MO.CO. announces the sudden death of Vincent Honoré, its Director of Exhibitions.
Vincent Honoré made his debut at the Palais de Tokyo in 2000 and went on to lead a brilliant career in London (Tate Modern, David Roberts Arts Foundation, Hayward Gallery). In 2019, he moved to Montpellier, where he was one of the first theorists and architects of the creation of MO.CO.
Vincent Honoré curated the 13th Baltic Triennial and is the author of numerous texts. His unrivalled interviews with artists attest to his love for everyone involved in contemporary artistic creation.
The loss of our extraordinary and inspiring colleague will leave a huge void in our community. His legacy will live on through all the exhibitions he conceived, including the current Huma Bhabha show, and through the young artists he mentored and supported.
At this difficult time, our thoughts are with his family and friends, and with all those who had the privilege of working alongside him.
In the coming days, a public tribute will be paid to him at MO.CO.
