The Politics of Silence

MO.CO. Esba Graduate exhibition 2021

From the ineluctable equation silence = death to recent movements such as silence breakers, empowerment politics have taught us to mistrust silence and forever break it. However when not confused with absence, silence can constitute a powerful strategy of resistance - a means of becoming ungovernable to an alternative way of resonating the silence that binds us from now on as subjects in the anthropocene.
